Just In: World Cup star in London and set to have his Chelsea medical on Sunday
Sky Sports reports that Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson is presently in London and is scheduled to undergo a medical examination at Chelsea on Sunday.
The talented forward, who recently made his debut for Senegal in a match against the Netherlands during the World Cup, is poised to become Chelsea’s second signing this summer, following Christopher Nkunku’s arrival.
Additionally, according to the Sun, Nicolas Jackson is dubbed the “next Neymar” in Senegal due to his impressive skills on the field.
Although born in Gambia, the 22-year-old player represents Senegal in international football and has agreed to join Chelsea. The combination of his quick footwork, exceptional dribbling abilities, and goal-scoring instincts has prompted Chelsea to secure his signing ahead of the upcoming season.
Jackson ended the previous season in sensational form, netting nine league goals in eight matches as Quique Setien’s Villarreal secured a spot in the Europa League.
