“Let him go since his not your main player” Release Ronaldo from his contract, it’s unfair on Ten Hag – Rio Ferdinand

Cristiano Ronaldo stormed off during Wednesday night’s 2-0 victory against Tottenham Hotspur, and Rio Ferdinand has sprung to his former teammate’s defense.

With two minutes of added time remaining, Ronaldo, who started the game on the bench, got up from his seat and walked down the tunnel.

The 37-year-old has received a lot of flak from fans and experts due to his behavior.

However, Ferdinand stated on his Vibe with Five podcast on Wednesday night that he must release Cristiano Ronaldo from his contract and let him go if he isn’t a starter for his squad the majority of the time.

“It’s unfair to Cristiano, Erik ten Hag, or the other players if the first question asked after every game is, “Why didn’t Cristiano start?’ Today’s victory by Man Utd by a score of 2-0 has made Ronaldo one of the top storylines. That is incorrect.

“You sit here and wonder, ‘Why would Man Utd just keep him there then?'” especially if Ten Hag had any inkling that he wouldn’t be his primary player. The aspect that puzzles me is when you consider what he has accomplished in his career at his level.
