Man United £100k-a-week star has now changed Ten Hag’s mind at Old Trafford

For Manchester United, right-back Aaron Wan’s Bissaka’s performances, according to Sky Sports writer Dharmesh Sheth, may have influenced Erik ten Hag’s decision to hire a fresh player for the role at Old Trafford.

The £100,000 a week player has played more since the Premier League returned following the World Cup, after struggling for minutes this season.

Diogo Dalot’s injury forced the team to recall Wan-Bissaka, who had only appeared in four minutes of Premier League action before the World Cup.

Ten Hag now has two reliable alternatives at right-back for the remainder of the year, freeing the team to concentrate on improving other positions during the summer transfer window.

Ryan Taylor of the Daily Express claims that Wan-Bissaka “will have multiple suitors” this summer, with a probable transfer away from Old Trafford.

Moreover, Sheth said that if a “great” alternative came available, United may still “be in the market” due to the “ever-changing” nature of their right-back issue.

Sheth’s comments on Manchester United?

Sheth told GiveMeSport that the right-back position has changed often during the last two of transfer windows.

“It seemed like Aaron Wan-Bissaka had departed in January in addition to the summer. Yet, I think Erik ten Hag’s viewpoint has changed as a result of his World Cup achievements.

If a great right-back were available at the appropriate price, they most likely would still be looking.

However due to Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot’s performances, I’m not sure whether it will be as big of a priority this summer as it would have been during the previous two transfer windows.

This is absolutely interesting.

Manchester United may bring in a right-back.

According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport Germany, Manchester United is monitoring the position of Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong, who is still on the team’s transfer list.

Josip Juranovic, a Croatian international, was rumored to be moving to Old Trafford during the January transfer window, but the Red Devils decided against it because to Wan-improved Bissaka’s play. As a result, the full-back from Celtic joined Bundesliga team Union Berlin.

The Manchester United club also expressed interest in Denzel Dumfries of Inter Milan before the January transfer market closed, and a deal for the 26-year-old Dutch international might now be a possibility.

Dalot and Wan-Bissaka both provide ten Very strong alternatives, so it seems doubtful that United would put the acquisition of a right-back ahead of other positions on the field this summer.
