Man United agree £25.6million+ contract for signing – Complete satisfaction

Manchester United has officially announced the departure of David De Gea, and it appears that Andre Onana will be his replacement at Old Trafford.

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, the Cameroonian goalkeeper has agreed to a five-year contract with the Red Devils. The details of Onana’s salary at United have also been revealed by the reputable Italian source.

Previously, the 27-year-old goalkeeper at Inter Milan earned a salary of 3.5 million euros per season. However, with the agreement reached with Manchester United, his annual earnings will now exceed 6 million euros. Onana, who formerly played for Ajax, is thrilled with the five-year deal, which has a total value of over £25.6 million.

De Gea, who was the highest earner at Old Trafford and received £375,000 per week according to Sky Sports, will be replaced by Onana, who will earn approximately £100,000 per week.

Through the departure of De Gea (and Ronaldo), Ten Hag has managed to significantly reduce Manchester United’s wage bill. On the other hand, the addition of Onana, who possesses excellent footwork, distribution skills, and has proven to be a reliable goalkeeper, will greatly enhance the team.

It is anticipated that Manchester United will make a new offer to Inter Milan, potentially tomorrow or Tuesday. The reported offer is said to be a fixed amount of 50 million euros, with additional add-ons, as stated by Corriere dello Sport.

According to the same report, such a bid should be sufficient to reach an agreement with Inter Milan.
