Man United agree £75,000 a week deal, £64.8m fee could get signing done

Despite Paris Saint-Germain showing interest, Manchester United is still considered the frontrunner to sign Rasmus Hojlund.

According to information from Alfredo Pedulla, the young striker has reached an agreement with Manchester United on a contract that will pay him approximately 4.5 million euros per year, along with bonuses, which translates to around £75,000 per week.

Hojlund has been consistently expressing his strong desire to move to Old Trafford.

Atalanta, his current club, is demanding a fee of about 80 million euros (70 million fixed and 10 million in add-ons) for his transfer, and this week is expected to be crucial in the negotiations.

According to Pedulla, there is a possibility of a deal being reached if Manchester United were to offer approximately £64.8 million (75 million euros, with 65 million fixed and 9-10 million in add-ons).

Interestingly, Corriere dello Sport has reported a lower value of just 45 million euros today, which is considerably less than Atalanta’s asking price.

On the other hand, La Gazzetta Dello Sport suggests that Atalanta is holding firm on their 80 million euro valuation for Hojlund and intends to replace him with El Bilal Toure, a striker from Almeria.

Erik ten Hag views the Danish international center forward as the perfect addition to Manchester United’s No. 9 position.

It’s believed that without a prolific goal scorer, Manchester United won’t be able to compete with teams like Arsenal and Manchester City for the Premier League championship in the upcoming season.
