The only way the Serie A club will let the Nigerian striker depart is if there is a commitment to buy him for €100 million at the end of it and they are able to loan United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Since joining Napoli in 2020, Osimhen has made 65 appearances and contributed 30 goals and 10 assists. L’Equipe, a French sports publication, said that the striker’s transfer from Lille cost more than $96 million (81.3 million euros), making him the most expensive African athlete in history.

Elswhere, According to The Athletic, United have “rejected” bids for right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka from both Crystal Palace and West Ham United.

The 24-year-future old’s has been in doubt all summer, and he has yet to make a Premier League start this year. In his lone appearance thus far, he came on as a late replacement during last week’s 2-1 victory over Liverpool.

Prior to Thursday night’s 11:pm deadline, it is alleged that United have no plans to sell or lease Wan-Bissaka out. The Reds would require another right-back if he were to go in order to have two guys contending for that spot.

Wan-Bissaka left Palace for United three years ago in a £50 million deal.
