Manchester United is eager to complete the deal swiftly and has already reached a “total agreement” with the 20-year-old Danish international, as stated by Alfredo Pedullà. Hjlund has already signed a contract with the Premier League team and is now awaiting concrete action from the club.
To secure the transfer, Manchester United will need to formalize a new offer in the coming days, meeting Atalanta’s demands. Atalanta’s manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, acknowledges that it will be nearly impossible to keep the player and has urged the club’s executives to reach a decision before July 31.
According to the reports, negotiations between the clubs have been completed, and Manchester United has already made a verbal proposal. The club is set to start serious negotiations soon to meet Atalanta’s demand of €60 million plus bonuses for Hjlund.
