Man United ready to get ahead to sign £70,000-a-week star in the summer

In order to seal the signing of Victor Osimhen during the summer transfer window, Manchester United is prepared to go ahead of everyone else.

According to a recent story carried by Il Mattino, the Red Devils attempted their first deal during the January transfer window, but Napoli rejected their offer.

The Naples-based company reportedly delayed the surgery until June without ever sitting down to talk with United, according to Italian media reports.

Osimhen’s current contract with the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona team expires in 2025, and he now makes around 4 million euros (about £70,000) every season.

The Serie A team is reportedly aware that it will be difficult to retain the great striker, who hasn’t lasted in one location for very long since arriving to Europe, according to Il Mattino.

Despite wanting to negotiate a new deal with the Nigerian international, Napoli is unable to do so due to the wage ceiling set by president Aurelio de Laurentiis.

According to reports, Osimhen’s auction is prepared in this case, and his services will cost 150 million euros. The “Premier League” is in the lead, and Manchester United is attempting to gain ground.

The center striker, who now leads Serie A in goals scored with 16, is being replaced by the Italian team, who are already considering their possibilities.

What do you think? Should Man Utd spend a fortune to get Victor Osimhen this summer?
