Man United submit £34million offer to sign £52million Ten Hag favorite

Manchester United made a bid of £34 million to acquire Andre Onana, but it will not be enough. According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Onana is the preferred choice of Erik ten Hag to strengthen the goalkeeper position, but the deal is currently complicated.

Man United entered negotiations with an offer valued at 40 million euros (£34 million), hoping that it would be sufficient to finalize the agreement. However, Inter Milan has informed Manchester United that they will need to pay 60 million euros (£52 million) to tempt the Cameroonian international away from San Siro.

While Onana would prefer to remain with Inter Milan, there is an attraction in reuniting with his “mentor,” Erik ten Hag, at Old Trafford, as reported by La Gazzetta Dello Sport. Despite claims that the African superstar has already achieved legendary status, it will be challenging for Inter Milan to reject an offer ranging between 45 and 50 million euros.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan set a price of 60 million euros (£52 million) when Manchester United analyzed their initial offer. Last season, under the guidance of Simone Inzaghi, Onana made 41 appearances in all competitions, conceded 36 goals, and achieved an impressive tally of 19 clean sheets.
