Manchester United have identified the player to sign as forward Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement at Old Trafford
The Red Devils are planning a spectacular transfer for Paris Saint-Kylian Germain’s Mbappe in the near future as a possible Ronaldo replacement.
Following Ronaldo’s dramatic interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, in which he accused the Premier League club of “betraying” him, Man United are ready to sever connections with the player.
In addition, Ronaldo claimed he did not respect Erik ten Hag, manager of Manchester United.
Ten Hag is said to have since advised Man United’s management that the Portugal captain shouldn’t take the field for the team once more.
Man United had already started compiling a list of forwards as a result, with a new top acquisition being anticipated to be a priority in the coming summer.
Man United will reportedly expedite such plans after considering a bold January approach for Mbappe, according to Mirror.
