Mauricio Pochettino is ready to sign three players for Chelsea after replacing Lampard

To get his reign at Chelsea off to a strong start, Mauricio Pochettino is hoping to sign three players.

The former manager of Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain may even be introduced this week, according to the Daily Mail.

However, Pochettino will have to wait until the summer to go to work because Frank Lampard is now serving as temporary manager.

Todd Boehly invested about £600 million on new Chelsea acquisitions, but Pochettino is eager to add new players ahead of the 2023–2024 season.

During his first transfer window at Stamford Bridge, the 51-year-old is rumored to desire a new goalkeeper, central midfielder, and striker and will prioritize players with Premier League experience.

Pochettino is already keeping an eye out for potential new additions, but he would also need to let go of a number of players in order to cut Chelsea’s overstuffed roster and generate some cash.
