NO DEAL: Chelsea £100,000 per week star keen on leaving Chelsea rejects contract offer

According to a report from CBS via Goal, Hakim Ziyech, the Moroccan international and Chelsea winger, has declined a revised contract offer from Al-Nassr, indicating that he will not be joining the Saudi Arabian club anytime soon.

The report states that Ziyech appeared to be on the verge of joining Al-Nassr, but the club modified their offer after expressing concerns about his knee and hip during medical tests. Despite the inclusion of bonuses that would have brought his pay back up to the original figure, the revised deal would have reduced Ziyech’s basic salary of €15 million (£13 million/$17 million) by 40%. As a result, Ziyech decided to reject the offer.

There is still a possibility that Ziyech could move to the Saudi Pro League, as Al-Ahli has shown interest in him if they fail to secure the services of Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City.

Ziyech, who is 30 years old, joined Chelsea from Ajax three years ago but has struggled to establish a regular starting role in the Premier League team. Last season, he made 18 appearances in the English top flight but started in only six of those matches
