REVEAL: Chelsea caretaker boss explains why Chelsea attackers can’t score goals in Matches

Chelsea fashioned an array of opportunities in their bout against Liverpool on Tuesday eve but alas could not convert any of them, as the Blues played out a goalless stalemate at their lair, Stamford Bridge.

When asked for his opinion regarding the uninspiring goalless draw against Liverpool, Chelsea’s caretaker boss, Bruno Saltor, asserted, “We established ample opportunities to attain the victory; two goals were disallowed. It’s simply down to the execution. The boys performed admirably, they exhibited great fortitude, and you cannot ask for more.”

Pressed to disclose the reasons behind Chelsea’s lack of conversion, Saltor added, “It is blatantly a matter of execution; executions and finding oneself in front of the goal. They are mortals, and their confidence must be elevated. Oftentimes, after the ball goes in, there are consequences. We simply need to continue to aid the boys; they have been through a great deal, it has been a trying season for them. As I stated earlier, they are mortals, and I am cognizant that they miss chances. Their attitude and exertion are what they could influence the most.”

When asked if he observed the same patterns during training, Saltor responded, “They do score an abundance of goals in training. However, when it comes to a match, it is an entirely distinct experience. It is something that we have discussed, and it is something we are actively addressing, and we need to persist in doing so.”
