Rob Green predicts number of goals Aubameyang will score for Chelsea this season
Rob Green, a former Chelsea goalkeeper, made a prediction on how many goals Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would score this season.
This came after the Gabon international scored in the Blues’ 2-0 victory over AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Aubameyang, who recently transferred from Barcelona to Chelsea, has three goals in his last three matches.
According to Green, Aubamayang might be the 20-goal striker the Blues have been lacking since Diego Costa left.
“Aubameyang is a quality finisher, and we’ve seen that,” Green said on BBC Radio 5 Live. He exudes assurance.
“On this team, all he has to do to keep getting opportunities is time his runs. He might achieve those 20 goals if he continues on his current course.
