“Ronaldo He Need to be replaced as soon as possible” Teddy Sheringham urges Manchester United to sign Premier League star

Teddy Sheringham has encouraged Manchester United to ‘blow the bank’ in order to buy Cristiano Ronaldo’s ideal replacement, arguing that the club should have allowed him to depart last summer.

Ronaldo wanted to leave Old Trafford in the summer after Manchester United missed out on the Champions League for this year.

The legendary player from Portugal returned to Manchester United in a spectacular way in the summer of 2021, and he made a big impression by scoring 24 goals across all competitions.

However, Ronaldo has only started for United in two of their nine Premier League games this season, suggesting that new manager Erik ten Hag has some misgivings about the player.

Although Sheringham thinks things are better now than they were earlier in the year, he still believes Manchester United should have sold Ronaldo during the most recent transfer window.

Sheringham believes Tottenham forward Harry Kane would be the best choice to take Ronaldo’s position at Old Trafford instead of the team’s current five-time Ballon d’Or winner. Ronaldo’s departure would have left a huge void in the United players’ locker room.

In 465 appearances for Tottenham, Kane, who wanted to leave the club in the same summer that Ronaldo came to England, has scored 274 goals and is inching closer to Wayne Rooney’s all-time record for goals scored in England.

Sheringham advised Gambling.com, “If they’re going to go out and break the bank for someone, go out and get Harry Kane.”

He is the kind of center forward that they are lacking—a true professional who leads the line and always gives 110%.

He’s a serious player, so spend big on him. Although I’m aware that will anger the Tottenham supporters, we’re talking about Manchester United, one of the top sports teams in the world.

Instead of spending money on players who might or might not accomplish the job for you, they ought to be doing this sort of stuff.

Sheringham added, when asked if he thought Kane may be persuaded to leave Tottenham, “Harry looks very pleased to me.”

He undoubtedly experienced some anxiety at the beginning of the previous campaign when he suspected he would be leaving the team.

He’s in fantastic shape right now, the World Cup is approaching, and he’s scoring goals, so I fail to understand why he would be considering leaving.

Only one Premier League goal has been scored by Ronaldo so far this year, and he was replaced during Manchester United’s 0-0 draw with Newcastle United last weekend.

Sheringham spoke on the circumstances surrounding Ronaldo at Old Trafford, saying, “I think Ronaldo has kind of wrapped his mind around the fact that he’s staying and the vibes don’t seem as awful anymore.”

I would have just told him in the summer that he’s free to leave and structured my squad around a proper center-forward in place of him, along with the younger players he has, since having an absolute superstar in your camp can have an adverse effect on a lot of other players.
