Speculation over the 24-year-future old’s has increased over the last several weeks as a result of rumours that contract negotiations between Mount and Chelsea have stalled.

After spending time on loan at Championship team Derby County and Dutch club Vitesse, the midfielder entered the club for the first time in 2019 under the direction of former Blues manager Frank Lampard.
