Ten Hag criticizes Man United players after 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest
Despite Manchester United’s 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Sunday, manager Erik ten Hag criticized his players’ finishing.
The victory allowed Manchester United to overtake Newcastle in the Premier League standings.
United scored thanks to goals from Antony and Diogo Dalot, but the coach expected more from his team.
“[My] only complaint is that a greater score, such as 3-0 or 4-0, is required.
“We passed up a few opportunities. With so many opportunities to score, it is always crucial if we want to end the game quickly, Ten Hag told Sky Sports.
During the game, United had 22 shots opposed to Forest’s 6, although only eight of those shots were on goal.
