Ten Hag gives injury update on £240,000 per week Star ahead of Tottenham clash
Bruno Fernandes may be eligible for Manchester United’s Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday, according to manager Erik Ten Hag.
On Sunday’s FA Cup semifinal against Brighton, the Portugal midfielder sustained an ankle injury.
Since then, photos of Fernandes with crutches and a boot for protection have surfaced.
Ten Hag asserts that there is still a chance he will be able to play in the game.
“We need to observe how Bruno Fernandes is since we are unsure of him at this point.
“Players are more frequently safeguarded for prevention, but it must settle. You’ve seen that he played the entire game, and that’s when it occurred.
“It is a quick [turnaround] , but we have to see from now what is possible,” Ten Hag added.
With 59 points, United enters the game in fourth place.
