The FA ‘will consider’ former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel to replace Gareth Southgate

It’s been a few days since England lost in a major competition just as expectations for their victory started to grow.
The players, coaches, and entire nation were left feeling the typical disappointment of leaving a competition at a crucial moment even though they had the better of France and should have dominated the match and advanced to the semi-finals thanks to a missed Harry Kane punishment.

Gareth Southgate has been questioned about his future, and while it appears that the FA thinks he should stay, Southgate himself gives off the impression that he is considering leaving.

As far as I’m concerned, this is the ideal time to take advantage of it, and we need fresh faces to guide a talented group of players in achieving what everyone agrees they should be doing right now. Furthermore, in my opinion, Thomas Tuchel, the former Chelsea manager, is the best person to achieve this.

According to The Message, The FA WILL consider him if Southgate goes that route and Tuchel is amenable to it.

FA will consider foreign candidates to replace Gareth Southgate if the England manager stands down with Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Tuchel open to the prospect of succeeding
