After winning the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup, Thomas Tuchel was unexpectedly fired as Chelsea manager in September.
In an email from the German manager’s ex-wife, Tuchel’s dismissal at Chelsea was explained.
According to Bild, Sissi, a former Suddeutsche Zeitung writer and Tuchel’s ex-wife, stated in an email that the German coach was fired by Chelsea owner Tuchel after the Chelsea players lost respect for him.
Several enigmatic “off-field factors” were also given as justifications for the breakup.
Tuchel has been unemployed since Chelsea fired him, despite having won 60 of his 100 games in command of the club, including the 2021 Champions League final against Manchester City.
