“They’re not moving forward” – Ian Wright reveals Man United’s major problem

Ian Wright, a former Arsenal player, claimed that Manchester United’s main issue this year is their inability to advance.

He observed that there is still a lot of passes going sideways and insufficient movement up front.

The former striker pointed out that as a result, the group is not creating enough significant opportunities to win games.

At Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag’s team plays host to Chelsea on Saturday night and Tottenham on Wednesday.

Wright also believes that their biggest issue is that they aren’t posing enough of a danger to the opposing team’s goal.

“At this point in the season, I believe they have taken 42 or less shots that have been on target. On The Kelly and Wrighty Show, the former striker declared, “It’s not enough for Manchester United.

“At the same time, because they are providing opportunities, it is coming slowly. With the assurance of what you are witnessing on a daily basis throughout training, that will follow.

You can see a little of what’s happening on the pitch as things are starting to happen. They’re still attempting to get there, as you can see.

“You start to think I don’t want to attempt something anymore when you try something but don’t receive the results right away. You’re hesitant to actually accomplish it rather than simply trying it.

“United must make some kind of breakthrough, and that is what they must accomplish. There is still a lot of sideways passing and insufficient forward movement to get to the ball and cross lines.
