Todd Boehly has been told he could sign Chelsea’s own Lionel Messi by signing£63,000 per week midfielder

Todd Boehly has been informed that by acquiring Brighton player Alexis Mac Allister, he may get Chelsea’s very own Lionel Messi.

Martin Keown, a former Arsenal defender, has likened Mac Allister to the great forward Messi. Both of them played a crucial role in Argentina’s World Cup victory in December.

Keown thinks Mac Allister can play anywhere in midfield thanks to his technical prowess.

Keown told talkSPORT that Mac Allister is essentially Brighton’s little Messi.

He could play in any midfield position, whether it was at the bottom or top of the field. We were aware of his talent, technique, and play-making ability at all times. Before the World Cup, they gave him a new deal; things keep getting better. They may indeed go up to fourth position.
