Todd Boehly will move heaven and earth to sign £100m player in the summer

According to reports, Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali may “move heaven and earth” to attempt to get Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea this summer.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea’s co-owners are still intent on signing the 19-year-old sensation and hope to have more negotiations after previously making a significant effort to build a rapport with his representation.

Bellingham’s price tag is predicted to be about £100 million, and Dortmund expects to sell him at the conclusion of the current campaign. Additionally, he would be paid more than £200,000 every week.

According to the source, Chelsea is preparing to sell off all of its players in order to stay in compliance with Financial Fair Play regulations. Nevertheless, despite back-to-back transfer windows with significant investment, the Blues are not deterred from making a splashy move for Bellingham.

Finally, Graham Potter’s team acknowledges they are now lagging interested parties Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Manchester City in the hunt to sign Bellingham.

The Telegraph reports that Chelsea is still interested in Declan Rice of West Ham and Moises Caicedo of Brighton to bolster the midfield, but it’s wonderful to hear the team has selected Bellingham as their top target.

Don’t be shocked if the Dortmund star wears Chelsea colors next season given that Boehly and Eghbali have identified the youngster as a primary goal.

Under the management of the Blues, there has so far been a true ruthlessness in the transfer market.

When Chelsea paid £106.8 million to acquire Enzo Fernandez from Benfica in January, it sent a strong statement. But this would be an even more absurd claim.

Bellingham is a well-known person that Chelsea players will all be familiar with, particularly his England teammates.

The Blues’ right back Bellingham’s 23-year-old fan Reece James is one of his greatest supporters and he adores him as a player.

In a recent interview, James said that when the “really excellent” Dortmund midfielder joined England’s senior squad for international competition, he took care of him.
