Transfer News: Chelsea enter race to sign Kylian Mbappe from PSG

Chelsea has entered the competition to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain, adding to the uncertainty surrounding the 24-year-old’s future at the French club. Mbappe was notably absent from PSG’s pre-season tour of Japan, raising significant questions about his immediate plans.

The player has already informed the Ligue 1 champions that he will not be staying beyond the upcoming season, with Real Madrid widely rumored to be his preferred destination. However, with the recent developments in the transfer saga, reports from France suggest that Chelsea has shown interest in signing the forward. While they have not yet submitted an official offer, RMC Sport claims that Chelsea is now in the race for Mbappe’s signature.

Furthermore, it is reported that at least one other English club is also interested in acquiring the talented player. In addition to the English clubs, Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal has reportedly joined the pursuit, with plans to offer Mbappe a lucrative deal consisting of €400 million wages over two years and a €200 million transfer fee to PSG.
