Transfer News: Chelsea eyeing £40m deal for Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga replacement
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea is attempting to position itself to secure the services of Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer.
Onana has been associated with a number of European teams, with Chelsea reportedly showing the most interest in the Cameroon international.
Onana’s salary, which might cost Chelsea over £40 million to sign, will probably be in line with the team’s wage structure.
Mauricio Pochettino, the incoming Chelsea manager, would have to approve a deal for Onana.
