Chelsea has reportedly made the decision to sell Callum Hudson-Odoi during the upcoming summer transfer window for a remarkably low fee of £10 million, as per the Express. Although the 22-year-old winger is scheduled to have crucial discussions regarding his future with the club next week, Chelsea has already determined to part ways with him due to interest expressed by five other Premier League teams.
Hudson-Odoi, who signed a lucrative contract worth £120,000 per week in 2019 after Chelsea turned down advances from Bayern Munich, has one year remaining on his current deal. However, his development has not met the expectations that many had for him. Last season, he was loaned out to Bayer Leverkusen, where he managed to score one goal and provide a single assist in 21 appearances for the German club.
Several English clubs, including Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Crystal Palace, Brentford, and West Ham, have shown interest in acquiring Hudson-Odoi’s services this summer, and Chelsea is willing to let him go for a fee of £10 million. Additionally, two Saudi Arabian clubs have also displayed interest in signing him, but it is anticipated that the winger will reject offers from Saudi Arabia.
Having made his debut for the Chelsea first team at the age of 17, Hudson-Odoi has accumulated a total of 16 goals in 126 appearances for the club.
