“We are rebuilding the team, we need more player” – Chelsea submit bid for Serie A star
Denzel Dumfries, a wingback for Inter Milan, has received a bid from Chelsea in the amount of €35 million (£30.8 million), according to Italian media outlet La Repubblica via Metro.
In order to give Reece James, who is presently injured, competition, Chelsea is eager to sign a right-back this month.
Inter Milan reportedly wants at least €55 million (£48.4 million) for the 26-year-old international from the Netherlands, while they are seeking a much greater sum.
In remarks made last week, Dumfries’ agent wouldn’t rule out the prospect of leaving Inter before the transfer window closed.
Rafaela Pimenta told RAI, “He’s an Inter player right now, and then we’ll see what happens in the future.
