“We could see some changes” – Journalist says Lampard does like barely-seen £20m Chelsea star

Carney Chukwuemeka of Chelsea has so far left an impression on Frank Lampard despite receiving little playing time, claims journalist Simon Phillips for GIVEMESPORT.

The youthful player has yet to earn a regular berth in the starting 11 since relocating to west London.

Carney Chukwuemeka Chukwuemeka reportedly moved from Premier League team Aston Villa to Chelsea for a reputed £20 million, according to Sky Sports.

The England youth international is currently the most highly regarded young player in Europe, and journalist Dean Jones believes he will eventually become a great star.

To quote him, “I think this lad is going to be a complete star,” he told GIVEMESPORT. If Chelsea were considering it, they recently acquired him, thus they have already committed to him. Players of that caliber, including Gallagher, Loftus-Cheek, and others, need to convince you that they belong on the team ahead of him.

One player noted, “The big challenge for those players is trying to keep players like this on the sidelines.”

The youthful midfielder, who is confident in his capacity to flourish at the highest level, reportedly declined a £100k-per-week deal to stay at Villa.

How much has Phillips talked about Chukwuemeka?
Phillips asserts that although Lampard hasn’t yet played Chukwuemeka, so far, Lampard has been impressed by Chukwuemeka.

In a statement to GIVEMESPORT, he claimed, “I mentioned last week, he was highly impressed with Chukwuemeka and then he didn’t even take him to Europe. But he does enjoy him. He finds a lot of the other young players appealing. Noni Madueke is another. Although he hasn’t played with him yet, he likes him as well.

Therefore, I believe we might see some changes in that squad over the course of the next four games if we depart Europe, which is looking quite possible. He then has more options and freedom when selecting a team. He can pick anybody he wants since we won’t get demoted.

Then, all Lampard has to do is bring in players he loves and develop a couple while he’s here.

Do you believe Chukwuemeka merits another chance?
The 19-year-old midfielder has started just once in the Premier League, but FBref claims that he has played in 11 games altogether.

However, Chukwuemeka has yet to score or assist Chelsea in England’s top flight.

The Austrian-born midfielder joined the squad as Stamford Bridge entered a period of profound upheaval as a result of the influx of numerous new players.

Chukwuemeka may need to exercise patience for the time being; he might gain from a loan change in the summer.
