“We didn’t make a decision on him” Ten Hag hints a Man Utd player that might not get new deal

Erik ten Hag said that Manchester United is debating whether to extend David De Gea’s current contract or not.

The 500-cap spaniard’s contract with United runs out at the end of the current campaign, but the Premier League team has the option to extend it by an additional year.

Ten Hag, however, has admitted that they are deliberating about their next course of action before making it.

We didn’t decide on him, but I can say that David De Gea is a goalkeeper with whom I am quite satisfied.

“His first two performances of the season weren’t his finest, but as you can see, he contributes significantly to the defense, provides consistency, and I like him personally.

Ten Hag said at a news conference on Tuesday, “I can really cooperate with him really well, but first we go to the winter and then we will talk about how to deal with the difficulties.”

The 31-year-old De Gea has stated publicly that he would prefer to stay at Old Trafford longer.

There are rumors, meanwhile, that Ten Hag wants to hire a new goalkeeper who is at ease handling the ball.
