The Blues have received good news regarding injuries ahead of Thursday’s Premier League match against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.

According to Football London, Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has resumed training after recovering from a thigh injury he suffered against Newcastle United in November.

On November 12, Loftus-Cheek was taken off during the first five minutes of the 1-0 loss at St. James’ Park and completed the most of his recuperation work throughout the World Cup break.

Following Potter’s arrival, Loftus-Cheek played consistently in midfield but is unlikely to return right away after missing seven weeks due to injury.
