“We Need Him” £40m striker claims Reece James is constantly telling him to join Chelsea

Roma striker Tammy Abraham revealed that his friend Reece James constantly tries to get him to join Chelsea.

Tammy Abraham graduated from the Chelsea academy and played regularly for the first squad at Stamford Bridge. He did, however, relocate from West London to Rome a few years ago.

The 25-year-old attacker scored 36 goals in 102 games during his two-season stay with Italian club Roma.

But will the Englishman ever play again in the Premier League?

Abraham claimed that James and his other former teammates are continuously pressuring him to finalize a return to the Blues in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb.

James always urges me to go back, and I still chat to so many Chelsea players, added Abraham.

It is without a doubt necessary for Chelsea to sign a center-forward during the current summer transfer window. Additionally, Abraham’s name has come up in transfer rumors.

According to a post by journalist Simon Phillips on his Substack from earlier this month, Abraham is a player that is “being mentioned” at Chelsea as a potential transfer target.

According to a recent Calciomercato article, Roma of Serie A may be willing to sell Abraham for about £40 million.

Abraham’s likely selection for the No. 9 spot is acceptable to us. But we should start by investigating better options.

The Roma forward would probably finish the season with the most goals of any player in the current Chelsea team.

The strong core of current first-team squad members from the academy who support Chelsea would like to see them stick around. We’ll have to wait and see if James’ wish to get in touch with Abraham comes true.
