Wesley Fofana, a recent addition to Chelsea from Leicester City, has expressed his satisfaction at joining the team.
Fofana was acquired by Chelsea from Leicester on Wednesday.
Following the summer transfers of Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella, Fofana comes to Stamford Bridge to strengthen Thomas Tuchel’s defense for the 2022–23 campaign.
The 21-year-old and the Blues agreed to a seven-year contract.
Fofana told Chelsea’s official website after finalizing his signing: “The last two days have been incredibly huge days for me and I’m very thrilled. It’s a dream come true for me to have trained with the team this morning. I’m incredibly eager to begin playing games for the supporters and the club.
I want to take home every trophy available, including the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup. I’m here to continue the winning tradition that the club has established since it was founded.
