“You are a waste of £60m” – Agbonlahor slams Chelsea’s Player

Gabby Agbonlahor, a former player for Aston Villa, believes Marc Cucurella was a poor choice for Chelsea.

Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea, was criticized by him for over-rotating his team at the time.

He claimed that Chelsea wasted their $60 million by signing the left-back from Brighton in the summer.

Up until yesterday, when they suffered their first loss under the former Brighton manager, Potter, Chelsea had been managing them effectively.

Potter’s Chelsea team was defeated 4-1 on his first trip back to the Amex Stadium following his left for Stamford Bridge.

Agbonlahor and Potter Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are perplexed as to why

He said to talkSPORT: “I’ve only seen Cucurella look decent in a maximum of two games while he’s been at Chelsea.

“Just like he was sacrificed for the formation change against Manchester United after being taken off after 36 minutes, he was sacrificed in the 64th minute here.

“They spent £60 million for him… Ben Chilwell is seated on the bench, as well. Why doesn’t Aubameyang start? Why won’t Chilwell begin? These athletes can participate in two games every week.

These players can play more frequently than Potter wants to play them because the World Cup is only a few weeks away.

“There has been too much turnover, and Cucurella seems to me to have been a terrible £60 million investment by Chelsea.”
