“You are now very mature” – Wright-Philips tells Man United star
Marcus Rashford, a striker for Manchester United, has improved from last year, according to former Premier League winger Shaun Wright-Philips.
Marcus Rashford was not in the starting lineup for Manchester United’s match against Wolves on Saturday.
The 24-year-old was excluded from the starting lineup, according to manager Erik ten Hag, because of a “internal disciplinary” matter.
Rashford, who has scored the most goals for Manchester United this year, then came off the bench to give the Red Devils the victory in the second half.
Since returning from the World Cup in Qatar, the England international has scored three times, and Wright-Phillips highlighted that the striker’s confidence has grown this season.
“He wasn’t performing many of those fantastic runs. He’s doing it right now. He remarked on Premier League Productions, “I just believe when you’re getting to the finish of them, when your confidence level is really high.
“You’re calmer; you take your time, slow down, and attack. Rashford is now shown a high level of maturity, and he is being rewarded for it.
