“You are too quick” – Ten Hag Tell Guardiola over Man Utd’s title chances
Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has claimed that Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, was “too eager” to declare the return of the Red Devils.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Guardiola stated, “I have the feeling that United is finally making a comeback.
“I witnessed that on Thursday [against FC Sheriff] and in the opening period against Chelsea.
“I stated that I am pleased with United at this time. There will be several teams competing like United,”
However, Ten Hag underlined that his team is still developing after a 1-0 victory over West Ham on Sunday.
“I believe Pep Guardiola’s announcement that Manchester United is returning is premature. It needs to be better managed in the second half. However, our spirit is amazing.
“We are capable of scoring goals, but our attacking football efficacy needs to increase. We are moving in the right path, but it will take some time before we can pose a threat,” Ten Hag remarked.
