You need help from psychologist – Man Utd legend tells Harry Maguire

Harry Maguire of England should consult a psychologist, according to Manchester United veteran Gary Neville, in order to rediscover his confidence and form on the field.

Maguire has recently been under fire for his mistakes on defense, both for his club and his country.

Maguire has found himself warming the bench for Manchester United despite being the club’s captain under new boss Erik ten Hag.

I’ve been there myself, Neville stated on BBC Radio 5 Live. In the early 2000s, I allowed Vasco de Gama to score twice in a World Club Championship match. Later, six months later, England had a disastrous tournament in Belgium and Holland. In football terms, my agony persisted for nearly eight months. I didn’t want the ball since I was poor, lost confidence, and didn’t show up for appointments.

“When I lost my confidence, I visited a psychotherapist to help me get through those times,” he continued. I would advise him to follow my example. I did visit my physician at Manchester United. I did visit a psychologist and receive assistance. You do occasionally require outside assistance.

Harry is going through a challenging time. However, he has a decent family and friends that are willing to support him. He also has a good character. There is no escaping the fact that Harry is going through a difficult time. You can only show up, give it your all, and refuse to give in, though.
