Three Arsenal players have received praise from former Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand, who claims they stood out against Chelsea on Sunday.
At Stamford Bridge on Sunday, Arsenal defeated Chelsea 1-0 to maintain their standing in the Premier League standings.
The game’s lone goal was scored by Gabriel Martinelli in the second half, however players like Thomas Partey, William Saliba, and Gabriel Jesus all played superb defense.
And Ferdnand acknowledged this, praising the trio specifically in his YouTube audio analysis of the game.
He continued, “[William] Saliba was enormous yesterday, he played really well.”
“He was distinct. In midfield, [Thomas] Partey made it seem simple.
He controlled the midfield. Gabriel Jesus accomplished everything except for scoring a goal.
