Gianluca Scamacca of Sassuolo is expected to join West Ham after Chelsea delayed the signing of Armando Broja

After growing impatient in their negotiations with Chelsea for Armando Broja, West Ham and Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca have reached an agreement for £35.5 million.

West Ham offered Chelsea £30 million plus add-ons for Broja earlier this week, but the west London club has been hesitant to ratify the move.

The Times claims that West Ham has moved forward with a deal for Scamacca after becoming impatient with Chelsea’s “dithering.”

Sassuolo has accepted West Ham’s offer to pay them £30.5 million up front plus an additional £5 million in add-ons. The deal also includes a 10% resale clause.

The 23-year-old, who scored 16 goals in Serie A last season, will transfer to West Ham.

In addition, West Ham has made a £12 million bid to Eintracht Frankfurt for the versatile left-sider Filip Kostic.

In contrast, Broja now appears destined to remain at Chelsea for the time being after Thomas Tuchel said this week that he anticipates the 20-year-old striker to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Tuchel stated, “Armando is our player first and foremost, and we have no interest in trading him at this time.”

After being on loan in Southampton, he is here to make a mark. The way we see it up front, that is his predicament. It’s beneficial if there is attention because it demonstrates talent and promise.

It demonstrates to us that Armando is in a position to shine and join the Chelsea team.

When will he join the Chelsea team? Although no one is certain, preferably as soon as feasible.
