£300,000 per week Chelsea star offered to Inter Milan ahead of transfer deadline
According to sources from Italy, Inter Milan, an Italian powerhouse, was recently given the opportunity to buy Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
After Inter Milan’s failed attempt to recruit Victor Lindelof from Manchester United, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that an intermediary had given Inter the chance to sign Koulibaly.
Milan Skriniar is expected to join French champions Paris Saint-Germain, and Inter Milan is eager to recruit a replacement for him.
Koulibaly’s salary at Chelsea, which is close to €10 million annually, reportedly turned off Inter Milan from signing him. Koulibaly’s salary is apparently too expensive for Inter Milan to pay in addition to any loan or transfer price.
Koulibaly moved to Chelsea from Napoli last summer, but his time there hasn’t been successful. Benoit Badiashile, who joined the team in January, has supplanted him as a team member.
