Liverpool suffer major injury blow ahead of Ajax clash

Due to a knee injury, Liverpool defender Andy Robertson will be out for Tuesday’s Champions League match against Ajax.

After the international break, the full back is anticipated to be out until October.

The midfield trio of Curtis Jones, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will also be absent for Jurgen Klopp.

In their opening Group A match, Liverpool fell to Napoli 4-1, while Ajax thrashed Rangers 4-0.

Only defender Owen Wijndal is out with an injury for Ajax; he has an ankle issue.

This season, the Dutch team had a 25-3 overall record after winning all seven of its games in all tournaments.
